Dmitry Nikulin — participant of TransRussia-2023 business program

TransRussia, Russia's largest exhibition of transport and logistics services, warehousing equipment and technologies, completed its work on 19 April in Moscow. The event annually hosts a large-scale Transport and Logistics Congress TransRussia.
Dmitry Nikulin, General Director of TA Supercharter, was a speaker at the round table "Logistics under sanctions. From Theory to Action: Routes, Opportunities, Solutions", organised by the ACEX team as part of the business programme of the exhibition.

Dmitry Nikulin devoted his speech to air cargo delivery under international restrictions. The expert shared information on the current state of the industry, risks and forecasts of its further development.

After the air cargo industry recovered from pandemic restrictions in 2022, Russian airlines had to stop operating most international flights. Many foreign airlines ceased flights to Russia.

At the end of 2022, air cargo traffic in the world decreased by 8% according to the International Air Transport Association (IATA). And according to the Russian Ministry of Transport, air cargo traffic in Russia has decreased by 60%.

"In April 2023, we can observe a stabilisation of the airfreight market on new destinations. The number of flights to countries with which direct air links have been preserved is growing. Many countries have become new aviation hubs for cargo to Russia, ‘ comments the CEO of TA Supercharter.
After sharp growth of airfares, caused by shock changes, the market is stabilising, fares are decreasing as routes are saturated with capacity and cargo flows are reoriented.

The team of TA ‘Supercharter’ follows the changes in the industry, keeps its finger on the pulse and is ready to offer you the optimal solution for delivery of cargo to the required destination in the fastest and safest way - organisation of a charter flight.
